  • Ten swimmers from Queen Mary Barts and London (QMBL) University Swimming Club recently restarted their club’s fundraising calendar and selected London’s Air Ambulance Charity as the recipient.

  • In April 2023, three-year-old Nancy and her parents, Donna and Steve, had spent five days in London, visiting from South Cumbria for Nancy’s regular appointments at Great Ormond Street Hospital for her rare autoinflammatory condition.

  • Our Physician Response Unit (PRU) – a pioneering community emergency medicine service aiming to deliver safe, effective and patient-centric emergency care, often in the patient’s own home – treated 3,361 patients throughout 2024.

  • London’s Air Ambulance is made up of a unique team of expert doctors, paramedics and pilots, who are dedicated to providing London with world-class medical care when a life is on the line. One of those doctors is Dr. Chrissie Hymers, who we spoke with to mark this year’s Doctor’s Day. 

  • Trauma never stops. In 2024, this was never more relevant. Sadly, London’s Air Ambulance’s unique team of expert doctors, paramedics and pilots treated more patients than ever before. 

  • In the last month of 2024, our advanced trauma team – who are dispatched by one of our paramedics situated in the London Ambulance Service control room in Waterloo – treated 152 patients.
