Year 7 school friends busked in Balham at the weekend for us, raising over £445 in a one hour performance.

Good friends for eight years, Max, Billy and Nico played a variety of music genres to visitors and shoppers at Hildreth Street Market, playing the guitar, keyboard and saxophone respectively.

Max said:"Though it was a bit scary to begin with we all really enjoyed the busking. So many people had heard of London’s Air Ambulance and thought it was a great charity to be raising money for. We did it as part of our school charity award."

Mark Davies, Director of Development at London’s Air Ambulance, said:“A big thank you and well done to Max, Billy and Nico for putting both themselves and the charity in the spotlight. Our community events not only generate vital funds, but are also a great way to raise awareness of our work locally.”

There are lots of different ways you can support us in the community too, from holding an event, to helping out at a collection or hosting one of our collection boxes.
