As a charity that is pioneering in our field of work, we endeavour to achieve and maintain high standards always. We also adhere to the Code of Fundraising Practice set by the Fundraising Regulator. We will monitor our fundraisers, volunteers and any third parties that work for us, to ensure that they are in keeping with the high standards we have set in our fundraising practices.
We comply with the law including those that apply to data protection, health and safety and the environment.
We are caring and respectful
Compassion is one of the core values of our charity, and we implement this in our fundraising practice. We will aim to treat everyone with the utmost care and respect. and we will not pressurise you to give if there is a sign that you feel uncomfortable.
We will aim to respect your privacy. From time to time, we may want to update you on our work and show how your gifts are helping. You can change your correspondence preferences at any time by contacting our Supporter Care team.
We are honest and accountable
We will be honest and transparent about how we spend your money. We will produce an Annual Review each year where we will be open about why and how we spend the donations we receive.
Where we ask a third party to fundraise on our behalf, we will make this relationship and the financial arrangement transparent.
If you are unhappy with our fundraising practices, you can contact us to make a complaint. We have a complaints procedure but if there is a circumstance where we cannot resolve your complaint, we accept the authority of the Fundraising Regulator.
We value all feedback and will be courageous in learning from our mistakes. We strive to improve on all feedback that we receive.
