Thanks to our two MD902 Explorer Helicopters, our charity can be anywhere in London in 11 minutes, ready to provide vital and time-critical care at the scene. Ensuring that our medical team can be there quickly and safely are our team of pilots, headed by Chief Pilot Captain Neil Jeffers.
We spoke to Neil about how he got started working for London’s Air Ambulance, what you need to do to become a pilot and the challenges of his role with our service.
