If you suffer a life-threatening traumatic injury in London, only our team can provide you with the help you need.
Traumatic injury is the biggest killer of people under 40 in the UK – but on the worst day of someone’s life, our medics can provide hope for a patient and their loved ones. We perform innovative and complex medical procedures on scene, to save lives where others can’t.
Thanks to your donations, we can be there for London, today, tomorrow and always.

Our impact
Annual mission map
Last year our team treated over 2,000 critically injured people in London, reaching them within minutes via helicopter or rapid response car. Learn more about the complex medical care we provided in your borough.
Patient story - Nancy
Read the story of a brave three year old who experienced our swift expert care after being severely burnt. After an incredible recovery journey, she's now inspired to be a nurse when she grows up.
New cardiac arrest team
Across London last year, 252 people suffered from ventricular fibrillation and sadly didn’t survive. Now though, with immediate help via London’s Air Ambulance’s senior medics who can use ECMO, the chance of survival can be increased. ECMO is an advanced procedure that involves taking over the heart and lungs of a person suffering from cardiac arrest.
