Geo Brand – a brand and communications agency who designed some of our patient resources – recently steered their office barge through London to raise vital funds for the charity.
Previously, we worked with Geo Brand on our 10 stories to inspire hope booklet, and more recently, our bereavement booklet: 12 memories of sudden and unexpected loss. This booklet was a special project for both organisations to work on and was created with the intention to provide solace and support for families in the future who sadly may need it.
Continuing our collaboration, Geo Brand decided to dedicate their barge cruise to London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
On Thursday 29 August, they took 20 people on board their office barge from Limehouse to Tottenham Marshes and back.
“It was a ticketed event,” said Andrew Dicker, Director at GeoBrand, “and one of the best events we’ve ever done.
“Everyone had a really relaxed, fun day and enjoyed doing something a little different to the normal networking events.
“It was so nice having the boat full of our creative peers in the industry, while raising money for such a good cause.”
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Geo Brand on our patient resources and are so grateful for their fundraising efforts – it costs approximately £15 million a year to run our life-saving service and 96% of our income is reliant on public support.
