  • As we come to the end of December, we’re looking back over the highlights of the year. From launching a clinical trial using AI and creating a first-of-its-kind resource for children who have a loved one in hospital, to appearing in a Netflix documentary and refreshing our brand, London’s only air ambulance has achieved a lot.

  • This December, thanks to The Casey family, we’re shining a different light on Christmas. In tribute to all our bereaved families, for whom the festive period is not always a cheer-filled season, we’re sharing this memory to highlight how this time of the year can be extremely difficult for some families.

  • After travelling in Asia for a few months, Rebecca had moved to London and started a new job with the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist. But in July 2024, after just a few weeks of starting her new life, an incident occurred which meant Rebecca wasn’t going to be able to settle in as planned.

  • In September 2025, our expert team of doctors and paramedics – who serve London using both helicopters and rapid response vehicles – treated 168 patients.

  • London’s Air Ambulance Charity is proud to launch a new resource – ‘When someone I love is in hospital’. This resource is a workbook, created and designed to be a tool for parents and caregivers to start a conversation with their child/children when someone they love is in hospital.

  • London’s Air Ambulance Charity proudly announces the appointment of Dr Anne Weaver as its new Medical Director.  Anne takes over from Dr Tom Hurst, who has held the post since 2019. 

  • After six incredible years of service as London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s Medical Director, we pay thanks to Dr Tom Hurst.
