Blick Rothenberg has chosen London’s Air Ambulance Charity to be its Charity of the Year for 2022.
Blick Rothenberg is a leading tax, accounting, audit and business advisory firm that works with overseas listed companies, international groups, owner manager businesses and private clients.
Each year, the firm nominates and votes for a charity to support throughout the course of the year through various fundraising initiatives. For 2022, it has selected London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
Blick Rothenberg’s CEO, Nimesh Shah, said: “We recognise the privileged position we have in the community in which we work and it’s important for us as an organisation to give back to this community wherever possible. I’m pleased that our people have voted to support London’s Air Ambulance Charity in 2022, in recognition of the amazing work they do. London’s Air Ambulance is reliant on public donations to meet its annual running costs of approximately £10 million. Since launching 33 years ago, our service has treated over 43,000 patients.
We’re here for every one of the 10 million people in London, every second of every day. When an injury is so serious that there is no time to get to hospital for treatment, our crews are the only ones who can perform emergency surgery at the scene. Our helicopters get us to the patient’s side in 11 minutes. It is thanks to corporate partnerships like these, that we can be there when London calls.
