Canary Wharf Contractors Fund announce its generous support towards charity’s appeal

Canary Wharf Contractors Fund has been a valued partner and supporter of London’s Air Ambulance Charity since 2019.

The organisation annually supports the charity, with funds raised from events including its golf day in June, which the charity has attended and spoken at previously.

The team, based in the heart of Canary Wharf, has helped to regenerate the area with developments including Canary Wharf Estate and Wood Wharf. The Chairman of the charity, Alec Vallintine, is passionate about supporting London’s Air Ambulance Charity; recognising the invaluable role our crew play in protecting London.

CWCF are proud to support London's Air Ambulance Charity through our charity fundraising activities. Whilst we never want to see the iconic red helicopters land on our construction projects, knowing this essential service is available gives great comfort, knowing that if something were to go wrong, the best medical support is always close at hand.

As well as coming on board as partners, recently in support of our Up Against Time appeal, Alec and team at Canary Wharf Contractors Fund have generously supported our own annual golf day at Sunningdale, raising further life-saving funds.

London's Air Ambulance Charity's CEO, Jonathan Jenkins, said: “We are extremely grateful to the ongoing support from invaluable partners like Canary Wharf Contractors Fund who have been supporting us now for four years. With 96% of our funds coming from public support, we simply could not continue to serve London without it."
