As part of our Up Against Time appeal to replace our two helicopters by autumn 2024, volunteers and supporters of London’s Air Ambulance Charity will be taking to the streets in our annual ‘Big City Collection' this month.
Our 2022 campaign raised over £14,000 and this year we hope our generous supporters will help us smash this target!
At the end of September, we will be out and about in London, at train and tube stations, sporting events and local shopping outlets, raising vital funds for the appeal. Please see below for the list of locations. You can also follow our Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram pages for updates throughout the week.
We will be collecting cash and card donations at the following locations:
Saturday 23 September - Crystal Palace Football Club – Crystal Palace Vs Fulham, 1pm – 3pm
Monday 25 September - Westminster Tube Station, 7am – 9:30am and 4pm – 6:30pm
Tuesday 26 September - 7am – 9:30am, lunchtime, and 4pm – 6:30pm collections across the City of London including:
- Cannon Street
- Fenchurch Street
- Liverpool Street
- Bank
- and many, many more locations throughout the city!
Wednesday 27 September - East London Mosque, 12:45pm – 2:45pm
Thursday 28 September - throughout the day at:
- Victoria Rail Station
- Cannon Street Rail Station
- Charing Cross Rail Station
- Covent Garden
Friday 29 September - throughout the day at:
- Pavilion Shopping Centre, Uxbridge
- Woolwich Ferry
Saturday 30 September - Pavilion Shopping Centre, Uxbridge – throughout the day
Saturday 7 October -
- Leyton Orient Football Club – Leyton Orient Vs Reading
- Richmond Rugby Club vs Darlington Mowden Park
