Captain Dave Rolfe in his flight suit on our helipad

We’ll be holding a service to celebrate the life of Captain Dave Rolfe, our much loved and valued colleague, who sadly passed away on Saturday 10 January 2026.

The service will provide an opportunity for colleagues, friends and those connected to our work to come together to celebrate Dave’s life and to reflect on his significant contribution to the work of London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

Memorial service details

Date: Thursday 7 May 2026
Time: 16:00 – 17:30
Location: St Botolph’s Without Bishopsgate

The service will be open to those who wish to attend, including past and present London’s Air Ambulance Charity teams.

Refreshments and conversation will follow the service, in the hall beside the church.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Richard Lewy by 30 April at [email protected] to help us with arrangements.

We aim to make this service accessible and welcoming. Please contact Richard if you have any access requirements or need additional support.

In line with the wishes of the family, donations can be made in memory of Dave to Helimission here.
