The good news keeps on coming for London’s Air Ambulance. Our charity has been shortlisted for the ‘Fundraising Team of the Year’ category in the Charity Times Awards and for two awards in the Third Sector Awards — ‘Communications Team of the Year’ and ‘Fundraising Team of the Year’ categories.
This is incredible recognition of the amazing work that goes in behind the scenes at London’s Air Ambulance to make sure that we continue to provide advanced trauma care across London, 24 hours a day.
The Charity Times Awards and Third Sector Awards are highly regarded in the charity world for their celebration of the best in the non-profit sector.
Commenting on the news Graham Hodgkin, CEO of London’s Air Ambulance said;
“When we set ourselves the highly ambitious goal of acquiring a second helicopter for London, we knew that the whole organisation would need to work extremely hard to turn the aspiration into a reality, whilst continuing to raise money to ensure we can deliver our service every day. Our Fundraising team and Communications team worked relentlessly to help us achieve all of this and more. I am immensely proud of the whole team. Whatever the outcome of the awards, to be recognised in the shortlist by our industry peers is a huge honour”.
Winners for this year’s Third Sector Awards and Charity Times Awards will be announced on 14th September and on 28th September. Fingers and toes crossed.
