On 7th November, Lloyds Development Capital held its annual charity quiz. The London branch of the global private equity specialist raised £33,000, an incredible amount to raise from one night and a £5,000 increase on last year’s total. The thirty six teams participating in the event met Dr Julian Thompson, Executive Director of London’s Air Ambulance and ex patient Kim Bowler, who shared her personal experience with the guests attending.

The LDC charity quiz is a national event with eight LDC offices from across the UK holding a simultaneous quiz night with the proceeds going to their chosen local charity. The London office’s quiz night, complemented by a silent auction and a raffle, raised almost a third of the total raised from the event nationally. The winner of the London quiz, team CMS Cameron McKenna, ranked as third on the national scale. The prizes distributed among participants of the London event included a helicopter flight, a signed Saracens T-shirt and a Segway rally for two donated by Wish.co.uk.
