Politicians from across London have today backed London’s Air Ambulance and the work we undertake, encouraging people to get involved with our events and fundraising during National Air Ambulance Week.

We all like to imagine that if we ever found ourselves seriously injured — from a car accident, perhaps, or following violent assault — we would be able to get treatment as soon as possible. After all, in the most life-threatening situations, every second can count when it comes to surviving and defining the quality of recovery.
