ERS, specialist motor insurer at Lloyds of London, has chosen to support our charity alongside Wales Air Ambulance.

We were selected to benefit following a vote among their over 650 employees.  For a minimum of three years ERS staff will run their own initiatives, and also support those organised by London’s Air Ambulance and Wales Air Ambulance to raise much-needed funds to support the work we do in our local communities.

Peter Hessey, HR Director and Head of the ERS Charity Committee said: “As an organisation that deals frequently with the after-effects of incidents like Road Traffic Collisions we understand the life-changing impact these can have. The value of the assistance that the London and Wales Air Ambulance services provide in these and many other challenging circumstances cannot be underestimated, yet these organisations are solely reliant on public donations to remain flying. We could not be more proud to be a sponsor of these of these extremely important charities.”

Charles Newitt, Interim CEO of London’s Air Ambulance said: “All of us at London’s Air Ambulance are delighted that ERS employees have chosen to support us as one of their charity partners.  We are the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to all those who live and work in London, and rely heavily on donations in order to operate.  Our corporate supporters are so important to us, helping to make sure we can provide emergency care across London, every day of the year.  The team and I are looking forward to working together with ERS over the next three years”
