Professor David Lockey, Consultant & Trustee at London’s Air Ambulance, said:

"Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the devastating tragedy at Grenfell Tower yesterday.

"We sent multiple teams of doctors and paramedics to the scene to support our emergency service colleagues at the London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police.

"I would like to thank all of teams involved in the response, with a special mention to the London Fire Brigade for their incredible work which sadly continues.

“We are also indebted to the many organisations and members of the community who came together to support the victims and rescuers in and around this terrible incident.”
