car boot sale

Local fundraising is a wonderful way to bring your neighborhood together while supporting our vital work. By hosting a car boot sale in support of our charity, Lynn Perry showed how a seemingly small activity in your community can make a big difference for London’s life-saving service.

Lynn is a long-term supporter of our charity, having joined our mission after seeing our helicopter land. “I always thought that one day, it could be me that needed them,” she told us. “That’s why I wanted to do something to help.”

Lynn drew on the support of her neighbours by knocking on their doors, encouraging them to have a clear out and asking for anything that could go to a new home. With the items kindly donated, Lynn headed to the car boot sale in Denham. Through selling nearly all of her stock, as well as a whole box of charity pin badges, Lynn raised over £400 to help our charity’s patients; an incredible community achievement.

We would like to say thank you to Lynn, her neighbours and all who helped out for their wonderful support.
