During 1-16 May 2022, Stephen Russell walked the Pennine Way, alone, to fundraise for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. Carrying everything he needed on his back – which varied between 12-14kg – Stephen completed Britain’s first National Trail, taking him from the Peak District to the Scottish Borders.

On 26 May 2022, 96 employees of Ernst & Young (EY) abseiled down a 35m drop inside their London Bridge office, raising £37,875 for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. The day also saw a bake sale, a raffle, a London’s Air Ambulance Charity pop-up shop and bucket collections within EY’s headquarters.

On 6 May 2022, nine CBRE employees walked over 11 miles to raise money for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. CBRE is a leading organisation in commercial real estate services and investments, in which fundraising for charitable causes is encouraged.

Whilst training for RideLondon in 2016, Yair was knocked off his bike and run over by a passing car. With a severely crushed pelvis and intensive internal bleeding, London’s Air Ambulance was dispatched by air and by Yair’s side within 15 minutes. They administered Yair pain relief and prepared him for roadside balloon surgery in case required to control the internal bleeding.
