St Mary and St Michael Primary School – situated in Shadwell, East London – recently committed to London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s Create-a-Copter challenge, in which every pupil created a model helicopter to fundraise for our vital service.

Last year, Fabio – a coffee shop owner in Debden – participated in RideLondon on behalf of London’s Air Ambulance Charity and raised over £1,000. This year, he’s signed up to do it all over again.

In 2022, Aquarius Golf Club held a fundraising evening to raise money for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. The event included indoor golf games and a raffle, and resulted in a fantastic £700 donation for London’s only air ambulance service.

London Dynamo – one of the largest cycling clubs in London – has raised over £5,000 for London’s Air Ambulance Charity after the service saved one of its members in June 2022.

After hearing London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s need to raise £15 million by 2024 to replace its helicopters, Tom Langdown, father of three, decided to use his own place in the London Marathon to run for the charity – and not conventionally!

When selecting its Charity of the Year for 2022, Northwood Golf Club chose London’s Air Ambulance Charity and raised a staggering amount of over £30,000. Ladies’ Captain at Northwood, Clare Brown, said: “We wanted to pick a small charity, one maybe you hope you’d never need but you’re glad it’s there. That led us to London’s Air Ambulance Charity.”
