Rozi's homemade helicopter

Rozi, a pupil at Grimsdyke School in Harrow, was tasked to build a vehicle for the term topic “People who help us” and chose London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s iconic red helicopter.

Sara, Rozi’s mum, said: “We saw London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s helicopter on my Instagram and thought you were the perfect example of “people who help”. We also thought it would be nice if we made a model and sent it to you. We hoped it would make you happy, as everyone is happy when their hard work is appreciated!”

Only five years of age, Rozi quickly fell in love with the project and spent hours painting and gluing the helicopter creation. “She also really enjoyed playing with it once it was done!” said Sara.

Rozi, Sara and their family recently moved to London from Hungary.

“We were surprised London’s Air Ambulance was a charity, but that made us enjoy this project even more and hope Rozi’s story will help engage others."
