On Saturday 7th August 2021, staff and members of the F45 Stratford gym dedicated a day of sweat, hard work and extreme workouts to raise vital funds for London’s Air Ambulance Charity.

Led by trainers Elouise and Graham, members took part in a series of exhilarating workouts dedicated to the charity, including deadlifts, burpees and the epically named battle ropes, and were joined by members of London's Air Ambulance medical team, Jess and Mike, who both completed early morning sessions.

For Elouise it was the perfect way to support our vital service, explaining: "London Air Ambulance are savings lives every day, caring for people with life-threatening injuries, and their funding comes from us supporters! We were delighted to be able to combine our passion for fitness with our appreciation of the work London’s Air Ambulance undertakes."

F45 is specifically designed to provide a functional full-body workout while improving energy levels, metabolic rate, strength, and endurance. The gym has grown massively since opening its doors in 2018 and often holds special fundraising days to support local charities like ours.

Elouise explained: “Jess is a member of the gym and works for London Air Ambulance, so we wanted to support her and her team and help fund all the incredible work they do! It was great having the guys in and throwing down a session with us, the members loved having the Air Ambulance team in training with them too. We would love to host an event with more London’s Air Ambulance staff!"

Simon Pitts, Community Fundraiser, said: “On behalf of all of us here at London’s Air Ambulance Charity, a massive thank you to F45 and their members for stepping up to support our life-saving work. It was a privilege to be invited along and see the sessions – I was exhausted just watching them! Brilliant effort by everyone involved.”
