c2c passengers have raised £825 for us after a charity collection at Fenchurch Street station. Our team of volunteers were joined by c2c staff to collect the generous donations of passengers as part of National Air Ambulance Week.
Suzanne Linggood, Station Manager at Fenchurch Street, said: "National Express have a long history of supporting London's Air Ambulance, and we were delighted to help their volunteers collect at our flagship Fenchurch Street station. As ever, the generosity of c2c passengers shone through."
Dr Gareth Davies, Chair and Medical Director of London's Air Ambulance said: "We are a charity and rely on donations to enable us to continue our work 24/7. We give medical care to over 2,000 trauma patients every year, and the kind donations of c2c passengers mean we can continue serving the 10 million people who live, work and commute within the M25."
National Express, the parent company of c2c, is one of London's Air Ambulance's corporate partners.
