We are inviting entry-level City workers to take part in the London’s Air Ambulance ‘City Bounce’ event — a Zorb football tournament on 10 March at Play on Sports Arena in Whitechapel.

In partnership with Tokio Marine Kiln — the leading provider of specialist and corporate insurance —— ‘City Bounce’ is where teams will don inflatable Zorbs in an alternative take on the traditional five-a-side football tournament, competing to be crowned our ‘City Bounce’ Champions.

The lucky winners of the tournament will receive bespoke learning and skills development sessions from our operational staff on subjects such as effective team communication, leadership and high-level performance. They will also win the chance to visit our helipad on the roof of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, a prize that is up for grabs to runners up also.

Graham Hodgkin, Chief Executive Officer at London’s Air Ambulance said: “Not only will participants be supporting us in saving more lives in the capital, but the event will also provide a great networking opportunity for entry level workers. As an ex City worker, when I started out, I would have gained a lot from the learning and development sessions that our operational teams are offering to the winners. It’s definitely a worthwhile event to take part in and, of course, it’s a great laugh!”

The event will run as a competitive tournament, with each team playing at least four games. The team entry price is £250 for five players and there will be other competitions and games going on throughout the event to get involved with. Spectator tickets are also available if you want to get colleagues along to cheer on your team. Food and drink will be available to purchase on site too.

No prior experience of football or bubble football is required however a sense of humour and team spirit is essential! For more information, or to book your team’s place, visit our website here
