Our appeal to the business community
London’s Air Ambulance Charity was founded by doctors who saw too many people dying before they had the chance to reach hospital.
Only our team, consisting of an advanced trauma doctor, paramedic and consultant on most missions, can perform treatments such as open heart surgery, blood transfusions and putting patients into an induced coma at the scene, in London - procedures usually found in the emergency department.
Our helicopters get us to the patient’s side in just 11 minutes.
Today we face another race against time – our helicopter fleet will soon need replacing. We need to raise £15 million by 2024 so that we can continue to save lives in London. As a charity reliant on donations, we need the support of generous businesses to help us be there for the next patient like Bruno:
