On 24 September, 10 employees from Big Bus Tours completed 2023’s Tough Mudder challenge; facing mud, obstacles, heights and more to raise vital funds for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. Initially an idea for a team experience, the Big Bus Tours group decided to also use the challenge to fundraise.

London's Air Ambulance Charity is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Sam Tompkins as Chief Pilot. Captain Tompkins, who has been flying with the service since 2022, will assume his new role in December 2023.

London’s Air Ambulance’s wellbeing helipad garden – situated on top of The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel – was nominated into the finals of The London Garden Society’s ‘patio, roof or balcony display’ category and awarded second place.

Former GB decathlete, Ben Gregory, was cycling home from teaching a professional coaching session in London when a car appeared in front of him, driving on the wrong side of the road. Ben was hit by the car and thrown off his bike. Unaware of the accident, at home, his family received a call.
