We were really pleased to welcome two lucky lottery winners and their families to the helipad this month to present them with their winning cheque for £1000.  Thamesmead resident Susan Hazell and New Malden resident Gail Thompson both won the top prize in our weekly lottery draw.  At the helipad they were given a tour of the service and had the opportunity to speak to the medics and operational crews.

Speaking after her visit with her husband Paul, Susan said;

“I support London’s Air Ambulance because they do such an amazing job for everyone in London and I can’t believe they are a charity. I loved every minute of the visit from speaking to the medical team, to seeing the helicopter, I was like a child in a sweet-shop!"

Joined by her granddaughter and husband for her tour, Gail (pictured) said;

“London’s Air Ambulance charity is such a worthwhile cause to sponsor and it was amazing to visit the helipad to see the air ambulance. The highlight of the visit was speaking to the Fire Officer on the helipad and learning more about what the charity does for London.”
