• In May 2026, our expert team of doctors and paramedics treated 205 patients, making May the busiest month of the year so far.

  • In 2023, 27-year-old Jason Ellis was a model, working with fashion brands including Balmain, Moschino, Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake and Les Hommes. Alongside his modelling career, Jason was also working as a chef at Soho House. But one day in late February, a motorbike incident changed his life. 

  • In April 2026, our medics – dispatched from The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel – treated 185 patients. These people were so critically injured, they didn’t have time to get to hospital: they needed our teams to bring the emergency department to them. 

  • On 4 June, we hosted our biannual gala at Raffles OWO London, where guests mingled with our doctors, paramedics and pilots, and learned firsthand about the work of the service. So far the evening has raised a phenomenal £1.5 million.

  • In June 2025, three-year-old Harrison was a happy, busy, little boy – always on the move, playing sports, car-obsessed, enjoying nursery and embracing life with mum and dad, Van and Cam.One Thursday evening, Cam collected Harrison from nursery in the sunshine, helped him to pop his helmet on and began their usual bike ride home.

  • On Thursday 28 May, for the first time in our charity’s history, our medic one crew was staffed by an all-female team aboard the aircraft.

  • This May marks the end of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s year-long partnership with the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Councillor Tom Bennett.

  • In March 2026, our team – dispatched in both helicopters and rapid response cars – treated 179 patients.
