An expert often seen on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, Mark Smith, has said London’s Air Ambulance Charity played a pivotal role in the journey that led to his career, after the service attended to him in 2003.
Jen Canali
Jen's role involves creating and uploading content to our social media channels, and reporting on our channel's engagement. She also provides support to the wider Digital Marketing Team, specifically with website content. Jen originally joined London's Air Ambulance Charity in the Supporter Care Team for two years, before moving over into the Marketing Team in 2026.
Rebecca Kennard
Rebecca joined London’s Air Ambulance in August 2024 as Institute Coordinator in Clinical Courses. She recently graduated with a BSc in Biological Sciences and has since taken on administrative roles including most recently at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She is looking forward to bringing her experience to this new role within the Institute.
Outside of work Rebecca enjoys travelling, running, and playing with her dog Patch.
Our Omaze partnership raised £4 million
We announced that our partnership with Omaze – which launched in June 2024 – raised £4 million. This incredible result meant we surpassed our appeal target of £15 million to replace our two helicopters and keep them flying for years to come.
We’ve reached the £15 million target for our Up Against Time appeal
We announced that the £15 million target needed to replace our two helicopters was met ahead of schedule. Thanks to incredible support from the people, businesses and communities of London, we raised an amazing £16 million to replace our two helicopters and keep them flying for years to come, continuing to save lives across London every day.
